Thank you Ven Loun Savath. You make me proud to be a Khmer. One day the CPP and Vietminh Hun Sen will pay for the genocide against the Khmer people.

Society should be rule from a religious point of view. Beliefs should dictate the life of the people and their behavior. This monk is doing the right thing if he is walking out his precipts as his religion dictates. The king is not above the law (religious beliefs), neither are the monks. If all acted accordingly to their religious belief, all should be on equal plain. The religion (beliefs) holds the highest pre-imenent above all else in any society not politicians.

if you by pass your religious beliefs for the sake of power and fame you will have corruption to the core. This includes the king down to the peasant people. Bar none.

Ven. Loun Savath is an individual who has compassion for others, and his work has nothing to do with your Indian Buddha.

This last Buddha did not stand up to defend his people who were killed by the enemy while his country was at war. So don't you lie and mix up with Ghandi's peaceful movement.

Ghandi was not Buddhist, he was Hindu. He believed in a Supreme GOD (Hindu).
